Pease Baseball instructors are former professional baseball and college players as well as a retired D1 College Head Coach. Each instructor brings not only a wealth of experience, but as knowledge and approaches to how they teach.
Colby Maun

Colby Maun joins Pease Baseball Professionals as the Director of Player Performance and Development. Colby comes to PBP after interning at Cressey Sports Performance in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and completing his degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Wilson College. During his internship at CSP-FL he worked with athletes of various skill levels from youth to professional. He was a former pitcher at Frederick Community College and Wilson College before moving into sports performance development and training. Prior to PBP, Colby worked at PowerTrain Sports & Fitness as a personal trainer and currently works online for Mike Over as a wellness, nutrition, & performance coach.
Colby grew up in Fort Loudon, PA and plans to reside in Frederick, Maryland. He comes
from an entrepreneurial family that has helped create his strong work ethic. Maun played high
school baseball at Shalom Christian Academy and finished the school strikeout leader with over
300 strikeouts. He furthered his education at Frederick Community College and was a part of
team of a team that lead the nation in strikeouts that went 20-0 in conference play. The following
year the team went 17-3 in conference play and won the region. After his time at FCC, he
finished his career at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA due to a UCL injury (Tommy John)
14 pitches into his sophomore year.
Colby wants to use his experience of overcoming adversity to impact his athletes. He has a passion for sports since age 4 and always knew he would use sports to impact the next generation. Colby’s enthusiasm to change lives was reinforced when he tore his UCL. His love for exercise and sport science was just beginning. During his recovery from his UCL surgery, Colby had some life changing experiences of working with the world renowned sports medicine team at Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Dugas, the physician who works with American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI), where he is the director for the ASMI Sports Medicine Fellowship Program, and conducts research to develop and improve the Internal Brace surgery. Colby’s faith in waiting for the next door and opportunity to open was just beginning.
Colby’s passion for building relationships, connecting with people, and leading individuals has led him to this opportunity at PBP. He wants to impact players and inspire them to be better individuals every day.
