Josh Conway is a seasoned baseball coach and former professional player with extensive experience at both collegiate and professional levels. Currently, he serves as a pitching instructor and Trackman analyst at Pease Baseball Professionals (PBP), where he specializes in developing individualized pitching plans utilizing advanced data analysis tools such as Trackman and Edgertronic.
Before joining PBP, Conway was a Pitching Coach and Development Coach for the Baltimore Orioles organization. In this role, he was responsible for pitch design and player development, employing advanced data analysis techniques for teams including the Double-A Bowie Baysox and High-A Aberdeen IronBirds.
Conway’s coaching career also includes a tenure as a Student Assistant for Pitching at Coastal Carolina University, his alma mater, where he contributed to the team’s 2018 Sun Belt Conference Championship and their hosting of an NCAA Regional. As a player, Conway was selected in the 4th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Chicago Cubs and played in their system until 2017, reaching the Double-A level and earning recognition as the organization’s #30 prospect in 2015.
At PBP, Conway leverages his comprehensive background in baseball and expertise in pitching analytics to mentor and develop the next generation of pitchers.
