Rentals/Usage (7 articles):
(1) Tunnel time, members area, or instructors area will not be rented under any circumstances to non-member entities during our operational hours. We are a members-only community, player development operation. (1A) Summer only and Winter break only memberships are only offered to graduated high school seniors as well as our collegiate athletes.
(2) No Access Area will be for private instruction and PBP programs. This consists of two 70′ cages with pitching mounds on the far right side of the facility. If our instructors are not using these areas, they will be accessible to members..
(3) In the event that PBP adds more programs, tools, items, or technology to the facility, members will have access to these items within their same contract year at discounted cost of the programming around the tech.
(4) Director of PBP strength & performance Colby Maun, will have the right to use/share the ‘flex lane’ with members. The timing of his usage may vary, and our intentions are to work together in times when members may wish to use the lane at the same time. Colby’s ability to be flexible and adapt training is extremely useful and helpful, so communication is key in regards to the center lane. There will be ample availability of the entire members area throughout daily hours of operation. Non-members ARE PERMITTED to participate in strength & conditioning, speed & agility, arm care, or any other programs / classes led by Colby Maun and our performance umbrella at PBP, and are able to use strength area & flex lane under Colby Maun’s supervision.
(5) PBP guest passes – Members are permitted to bring a guest with them. Guest cost is $25 / visit. Guests must visit with current members.
(6) Pitchers are permitted to bring non member catchers with them to catch for bullpen sessions. Catchers who are not members are not permitted to use the facility except to catch their pitcher unless they wish to use a guest pass for their visit.
(7) Our facility does NOT require supervision of players aged 13+. During operational hours (mainly on weekends), it is possible our facility may be completely empty with no instructors or adults present. Members are still permitted to use space in this instance. We do ask that if your son is UNDER THE AGE OF 13, to please always check to make sure an adult is present inside our facility, or an adult will need to accompany that player if you were planning to drop player off for training.
(8) PBP reserves the right to rent the facility to teams during non-operational hours.
Facility Rules and Culture:
Our facility thrives on culture and community. Our members work together, make use of the space together, and work efficiently when multiple members are present at the same time. Our goal is to make any visit a member makes to the facility a productive and efficient one, regardless of the time they decide to come in and practice. Our goals and vision will work to create a sound and fun practice environment while giving players that additional peer group and sense of community amidst the sport we all love, baseball. We will introduce all members to activities that can be done within our space so they have multiple activity options should they need to wait to use a certain space. TIME is the biggest piece of this equation, and our solution to this equation is to give you significant hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to get your work and practice in. This means members can spend all day at the facility, every day of the year. We intend to help our players work and give them a ‘home’ for daily practice to reach their baseball goals and aspirations.
- Autonomous pitching machines –Members will get ten swings and then must switch if there is a line to hit off the machine. If there is no line, members may use the machine in unlimited fashion until another player arrives to hit.
- Parents are permitted to use the space to assist in practice (aka catch, throw batting practice, or feed Hack Attack machine) should players want to do similar activities.
- If a member has no other member to play catch with, a parent is permitted to assist in training. However, we prefer and encourage players to play catch with other members to maximize productivity.
- Trackman use will be scheduled for members periodically throughout the year.
- Players can have as many free drinks as they wish so long as we are stocked with drinks.
- Players are not required to take a certain amount of lessons during their contract period. Scheduling lessons with our instructors will remain the same during membership assuming availability; members will receive a 15% discounted rate.
- Players will have access to our weight room and training equipment during operational hours. Players are expected to work in accordance with Colby Maun, should he be present, in terms of sharing the weight room area.
- Hack Attack Junior (mobile pitching machine) will be available to members for use permitting space/set-up area is open.
