Biography
Brady Wilson brings a wealth of experience as a professional player and coach, making him a cornerstone of Pease Baseball Professionals’ elite training team in Frederick, Maryland. With a career spanning collegiate success and professional achievements, Wilson has consistently demonstrated his passion for player development and dedication to excellence on and off the field.
Professional Playing Career
- Rio Grande Valley White Wings (2014): Wilson excelled with a .317 batting average, contributing to the team’s United League Championship victory.
- Winnipeg Goldeyes (2015): Played under Manager Rick Forney, a Frederick, MD native, in the American Association.
- Sussex County Miners: Continued his professional career in the Can-Am League after being traded, showcasing his adaptability and competitive spirit.
Collegiate Highlights at West Virginia University
- 2013 Senior Season: Hit .290 with 20 stolen bases (25 attempts) and led the team in games played (58). Wilson’s .354 on-base percentage and standout performances earned him Big 12 Honorable Mention recognition.
- 2011 Junior Season: Recorded a stellar .330 batting average, committing just one error in 55 games. Led the team in stolen bases (12) and ranked second in runs scored (45), demonstrating his speed and consistency.
- Game Highlights:
- Delivered standout performances against top teams, including a 4-for-4 showing against Illinois and a 9-for-14 series with nine RBIs against Canisius.
- Showcased power with home runs in key matchups against Cincinnati and Eastern Michigan.
- Developmental Years (2010): Gained valuable experience in 38 games, highlighted by a 4-for-4 game at Maryland where he fell just a triple shy of the cycle.
